2020 Year in Review

It was a whirlwind rollercoaster, that 2020 but looking back and doing a year in review, some pretty amazing things happened for Studio Rayn.⁠

From being able to serve some amazing clients in their brand design needs to holding a virtual brand design workshop, to being asked to speak to design students at a design college in Australia to Art Directing a Fashion and Culture Magazine based In New York! (Whew! Takes breath) To get back those warm fuzzies reigned by finding a group of like-minded fandom freaks of my beloved Swans Crossing and having all these amazing connections and ideas! ⁠

No matter the setbacks, I took the downtime I needed and continued to go after my goals and accomplished things I have only dreamed of.⁠

What are you dreaming of?⁠

And just like anything, there were challenges but I learned so much and overcame a lot of my doubts and fears of speaking on camera and pursuing my goals! I plan to do more because as they say practice makes perfect.

I feel like in my aspiration of being a professional graphic designer, multimedia designer, and later editorial art director I learned some things the hard way. I wanted to quit so many times but I just couldn’t because I knew it was what I was meant to do. I just couldn’t because I knew it was what I was meant to do. I just love solving problems, helping people find their brand personality and aesthetic identity to communicate visual messages and stories.

After feeling like I reached the mountain top no matter how many dragons I  had to slay, much rest was needed and also reflection in order to find a new direction. Cheers to immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. 💓
